The romantic story of a girl who gets plucked from obscurity to star in
the next major feature film franchise based on a book and the ensuing love
triangles she gets entangled in on—-and off screen.
Meet Paige Townsen, Rainer Devon, and Jordan Wilder…
When Paige Townsen, a young unknown, gets cast in the movie adaptation
of a blockbuster book series, her life changes practically overnight. Within a
month, Paige has traded the quiet streets of her hometown for a crowded movie
set on the shores of Maui, and is spending quality time with her co-star Rainer
Devon, one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive. But when troubled star Jordan Wilder
lands the role of the other point in the movie’s famous love triangle, Paige’s
crazy new life gets even crazier.
In this coming-of-age romance inspired by the kind of celeb hookups
that get clever nicknames and a million page views, Paige must figure out who
she is – and who she wants – while the whole world watches.
I started Famous In Love expecting a regular contemporary
novel, but I got more than I expected. This isn't your regular lighthearted
contemporary; it has a bit of a deeper meaning to it. This is a book about
taking chances, finding yourself, and finding love, and I love every moment of
it. Paige is a main character that I can see a little of myself in, and that
makes the story more personal. She is strong-willed yes unsure of herself, and
I can relate to that completely. Her relationship with Rainer and Jordan also
captures my attention and heart. Usually I have an easy time choosing who I
think is better for the heroine, but this time I'm as confused about my
feelings as Paige. I like how different Rainer and Jordan are yet they still
ignite the same reaction for me and Paige. Rainer is carefree and spontaneous
while Jordan is serious and thoughtful. I love them both, and I love how
different Paige is with both of them. The relationship between them is so
unpredictable that I kept turning the page wondering what would happen next.
The lessons learned from the story also keep me reading. Famous In Love is
about making tough choices and learning to live out of your comfort zone. I
really love that this book is entertaining and that it also teaches you a lesson.
I mean, I loved this book so much that I stayed up until 5 AM to finish it. I
was left wanting more that is for sure. Those of you who don't like love
triangles however, won't like this book, but I love that kind of thing because
it brings so much to a story. I am completely attached to Paige, Rainer, and
Jordan now, and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book! Rebecca has
created an amazing story and she has also managed to write a book within a
book, which takes talent. Famous In Love is a book full of passion, adventure,
and new experiences, and I absolutely loved it. I give it five out of five
stars.
